Uria aalge, Murre egg
Description:
A common murre (Uria aalge aalge) egg collected from the Mayo coast, Iceland in May 1908. The egg had been freshly laid at the time of collection. Alexander Sprunt Jr. noted this egg had been "laid on cliff" and the original collector, W. Keatley noted the birds were living in a colony.
