The Charleston Museum offers three different camp programs throughout the year. Children ages 5 to 10 can attend Nature Trailers Camp during the summer or Spring Break Camp, both held at the Dill Sanctuary. Children ages 6 to 11 can attend Museum Camp in the summer. Family Fun Events

Fun for the whole family! The Charleston Museum offers special Saturday programs throughout the year that provide educational and exciting experiences for all ages. All Family Fun Events are free for Museum Members and are free with admission.

STEAM Saturday

Designed for children ages 6 and up, STEAM Saturday is a hands-on workshop series featuring the components of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Reservations required.

Kid Tours, All Ages

Kid Tours is a series designed to highlight artifacts from our collection that have fascinated children for years. This seasonal event meets every Wednesday during the months of June and July at 3:30 pm. Following an engaging tour/talk with a Museum educator or curator, children will have the opportunity to participate in a themed craft project or activity. This program is for children of all ages to enjoy with a parent or guardian and is free for Museum members or with paid Museum admission.

Scout Programs

The Charleston Museum's collection is a great tool for helping scouts meet their badge requirements. Let us plan a badge workshop for your troop! Museum Workshop

Museum Workshops offer kids a chance to get hands on with history and natural history. Workshops include a lesson on the topic and hands-on activities. Recommended for children ages 6 to 12. Reservations required.

Teen Workshop

Specially geared for teens, our Teen Workshops offer an opportunity to engage with a variety of topics including history, the natural world, and STEAM principles. Workshops include a lesson or guided tour and hands-on activities. For ages 13 to 17
