Uria aalge, Murre egg
Description:
A California murre (Uria aalge californica) egg collected from the Farallon Islands off the coast of San Francisco. The egg had been freshly laid at the time of collection. Alexander Sprunt Jr. included a note regarding the specimen as "egg laid on bare cliff, no nest."
