Uria aalge, Murre egg
Description:
A common murre (Uria aalge aalge) egg collected from the South Labrador. At the time of collection, incubation of the egg had only just begun. Alexander Sprunt Jr. describes the number of birds at the locality as "hundreds breeding on bare cliffs."
