Description:

Watercolor on newsprint of a landscape study. A road lined with trees covered with spanish moss recedes into the center distance. All of the strokes are made with the same shade of medium brown/black. The paint is applied very thickly. This is the third study Ball painted of the same scene, (see 1975.32.221 & 1975.32.222).
