Description:
Oil landscape painting on canvas illustrating a tree, conveyed in green, purple, and pink, that dominates the composition from the center left. It is compositionally balanced by a sunlit patch of grass resembling a reflection. This patch and the distant field are the only areas of warm hues, while the image as a whole is predominantly cool in hue. Purple is the most common color used.
