Description:

Oil painting on canvas of a still life. A glass vase filled with red roses and white flowers sits in a blue dish on a green table. One of the roses has fallen and lays beside the blue dish. Elements of the bouquet are three dimensional with the paint applied thickly and piled up. Because they are complimentary colors, the reds and greens of the bouquet catch the viewer's eye. The blue of the dish brings out the oranges of the blended peach and yellow background.
