Description:
Watercolor on paper illustrating a marsh night scene. Ball has featured a cypress trunk and seven cypress knees emerging from the brackish water. A second tree trunk is visible in the upper left. The tree trunk and knees are conveyed in yellow and orange and an opaque white paint was used to give highlights to the water and tree.
