Description:
Oil landscape painting on canvas illustrating a single tree in the middle of a marsh with the silhouette of a distant city (possibly Charleston) in the background. The pigment on the leaves of the tree were applied using thinned oil paints with a higher ratio of linseed oil to pigment.
