Black and white photograph of the gate at an unidentified plantation. Note the eagle and ball ornament at the top. The plantation house is just visible at the end of the drive. This image was used in the book "Gateways & Doorways" by Elizabeth Gibbon Curtis, p. 31. Maxwell Kimball and George W. Johnson assisted her with the photography for this project.
