Description:

Sepia photograph showing piles of debris and an overturned house in Fiddlers Green caused by two tornadoes that struck the penninsula on the morning of September 29. Three additional twisters would also hit James Island, Sullivan's Island and the outlying areas.
Paine noted on reverse, "Along the path of the west Tornado - mostly wrecks were left for a mile and a half. 9/29/38 8:07 am. Fiddlers Green Photo by M.B. Paine."
