Description:

Twelve sherds (some repaired) of a barleycorn molded ware teapot and lid. The interior has a orange-to-pumpkin colored finish with the exterior finished in a clouded green, pumpkin, and manganese-streaked brown. Two sections of the teapot base feature panels of barleycorn molding. The lid (nine sherds repaired) is divided into four panels of barleycorn molding and features an attachment point for the finial and a steam hole. Currently on exhibit in the First Hall Gallery, "Riches of the Provinence."
