Description:
A murrelet egg that was previously attributed to the Xantus's murrelet (Brachyrampus hypoleucus); this species is now known to be two very similar species: the Guadalupe (Synthliboramphus hypoleucusi) and Scripps's (Synthliboramphus scrippsi) murrelet. This egg could belong to the Guadalupe or Scripps's and may be too visually similar to narrow down further than genus.
