Description:
Navy blue swim trunks with white stitching and white diagonal side stripes. Made of sail-weight dacron polyester, the shorts are cut straight legged with a hidden button at the waist and four silver grommets, though the original string tie is missing. The back pocket is rounded and sewn into the waist seam with a grommet at the lower end where valuables might be attached.
These trunks, made by Hang Ten, were worn by Thomas William Bennett Jr., in Charleston, South Carolina.
