Description:

Black and white photograph of the St. Francis Xavier's Infirmary once located at 258-266 Calhoun Street on the northeast corner of Ashley Avenue. Sams set his camera up directly in the street to photograph a man as he walks toward the three clapboard buildings that made up the infirmary and nurse's training complex. A horse and carriage can be seen to the far right. Printed from a glass plate negative held in the Museum's collection.
