Description:
Black and white photograph of the St. Francis Xavier's Infirmary once located at 258-266 Calhoun Street on the northeast corner of Ashley Avenue. Sams set his camera up directly in the street to photograph the three clapboard buildings that made up the infirmary and nurse's training complex. The two buildings on the left have crosses on the roof. Printed from a glass plate negative held in the Museum's collection.
