Description:

One of seven blue-winged teal eggs (CBE7163 - CBE7169) that were collected near Belvedere, while they were slightly incubated and identified when the mother was flushed. The nest was "a hollow lined with dry grass and down in clump of coarse grass, in grassland along border of small lake" (Henderson Silp).
