Photograph of three fishermen posed beside a large 10-foot sawfish caught in the nets of the trawler "Turnbull" off Edisto Island. The "Charleston News and Courier" accounted a crew of four "had a thirty-minute battle with the 700-pound monster" as they attempted to remove it from the netting. They also reported "E. Milby Burton, director of the Charleston museum, was notified of the catch and had photographs taken of the monster." Captain Eugene Oliver and crewmen Raymond Edwards, Joe Jordan, and Dan Edwards are also mentioned.
