Description:
One double-ended, double container powder horn. The piece is formed from two horns fused together with screws and covered with a band of horn with nozzles at each end plugged with wooden stoppers. One horn is acorn shaped while the other is carved in a crossed pattern. Leather strands, attached at the collars of each end, are threaded through the stoppers to prevent them from being dropped. A length of cord is tied from collar to collar for carrying.
