Description:
One of five horned grebe (Podiceps auritus cornutus) eggs collected from Crescent Lake in northwestern Canada (see CBE8845 - CBE8849). They were found in "a mass of decayed weeds floating in the marsh." Later acquired by Ernest Tabor.
