Description:

A pair of cased pocket pistols (or derringers) each with percussion cap actions converted from the original flintlock mechanism. The wooden stocks are carved with cross hatched patterns at the grip and the brass-tipped ramrods within the housings on the underside of each barrel. Silver inlaid bands are present near the breech and the underside of the barrel is stamped with two custom English proofmarks with a silver oval cartouche at the top of the stock and behind the hammer. Currently on exhibit in the Armory, the set is housed in a mahogany box complete with an oil can, bullet mold, two screw drivers, a loading rod, and a brass powder flask.
