Oil on canvas portrait of Peter Manigault (after Allan Ramsay 1751). He is wearing a blue coat with a lighter blue waistcoat over a silk shirt as he rests his arm on a table next to a clock (HQ 20). A red curtain against a landscape makes up the background. The original Allan Ramsay portrait of Peter Manigault is believed to have been lost in an early 20th century house fire.
