Page 37 - Fairfield Plantation (Lynch House)

Photograph of the land side entrance of the Lynch House at Fairfield Plantation taken during the 18th annual meeting of the American Association of Museums held in Charleston. A man and woman are pictured conversing on the porch and two automobiles are visible to the left. The photographer printed on the bottom, "Fairfield, South Santee. Built 1737. #11."

The conference coincided with the 150th Anniversary of the founding of The Charleston Museum and then Director, Laura Bragg arranged for tours of various sights and plantations around the Lowcountry.
