Ocean Plaza Boardwalk Grand Opening

Black and white photograph of the grand opening for the boardwalk on Folly Beach. An unidentified speaker stands before a podium on a stage with the ocean just visible in the background. Renamed the Ocean Plaza Boardwalk, it replaced the original wooden boardwalk that burned in 1957. Louis Schwartz was hired by Ocean Plaza, Inc. to photograph the event.
