Description:
Black and white photograph of a garden party hosted by Misses Susan and Mary Frost at their home, the Miles Brewton House (Pringle House), located at 27 King Street. According to a newspaper account, over 300 people were in attendance.
It appears M.B. Paine attended as either a guest, photographer, or both. His notation on reverse bears the incorrect date of May 27, "Life Goes to a Party in South Carolina's Most Historic Home, May 27, 1937. Paine Photo."
