Description:
Photograph of several touring cars parked in front of the Commercial Club on Meeting Street. Paine shot the scene looking south toward the steeple of St. Michael's Church from the old Commercial Club that operated as The Timrod Inn (Timrod Hotel) from 1918 to 1955. He noted on reverse, "Chas. to Meggetts Apr 18 '08 Start from Commercial Club and St. Michael's Steeple Chas. S.C."
