Description:
A calcareous gray to white siltstone with casts and molds of several kinds of clams (Early Miocene horizon, Hawthorn, Marks Head formation). Collected from Georgia, adjacent to Hampton Co., South Carolina on the west bank of the Savannah River at Porters Landing, 10 miles southwest of Garnett, circa 1900.
