Description:
One of nine gadwall eggs that were collected from Klamath River (see CBE2366 - CBE2374). The eggs were about seven days into their incubation and identified when the parent was flushed from the site. The nest was "composed of down from parents breast. Situated in hay field about 150 yd. from river," (Jewett slip).
