Photograph of a young girl viewing a Native American exhibit in the old Charleston Museum. She is looking at pieces of a dugout canoe found on Kiawah Island in 1956. The plaque in case reads, "Originally this canoe was about 35 feet long and 38 inches wide at the stern, the sides were about 2 inches thick. It is made of pine." Please contact the Museum's archivist for any information regarding the identity of the girl.
