One of two Franklin's gull (Leucophaeus pipixcan) eggs (CBE7082-CBE7083) collected from the Lake of Narrows in the Northwest Territory, Canada by C.S. Day in June 1905. He notes the nest was found "in colony of thousands, in rushes 200 yards from shore in 20 inches of water. Nest of rushes and decaying matter below and floating. Nicely hollowed and dry." Later acquired by Arthur T. Wayne.
