Description:
One of three Franklin's gull eggs collected from the Bear River Gun Club in Brigham City. Daynes' slip described the nest as "composed of green tules to form a platform" and also took note of the general nesting area as "10 acre colony (3000 pair). Ibis also nesting in same area. W. E. Griffee with me." The eggs had been freshly laid at the time of collection and identification was confirmed by the birds present. They were later acquired by Ernest Cutts (see CBE1979 - CBE1981).
