Larus marinus, Gull egg

Description:
One of three black-backed gull (Larus marinus) eggs (CBE7076-CBE7078) collected from Querachoo Island, Labrador by A. C. Bent in May 1909. Eggs had been freshly laid in a nest "of grasses and mosses on base [of] rocky island. Later acquired by Arthur T. Wayne.
