Description:

One of three Heermann's gull eggs that were into their incubation by twelve days when collected from San Jorge Island, Gulf of California. Stribling's slip note regarding the nest was that it was "on plateau at end of island. A slight depression in ground." He made a positive identification when the bird flew from the nest, and also noted the "Large colony nesting." The eggs were later acquired by Ernest Cutts (see CBE1935 - CBE1937).
