Description:

One of three ring-billed gull eggs (CBE1908 - CBE1910) collected from the Georgian Bay in Simcoe County that were 1/3 of the way through incubation. Pickering's slip described the nest as "made of grass and weeds. Placed between the rocks and stones on small island, in Georgian Bay." He also noted, "many birds nesting on island." The identification of these eggs was confirmed by observing the birds present. They were later acquired by Ernest Cutts.
