Description:
Watercolor on paper illustrating two stages of mushroom maturation. Jervey noted along the bottom, "Lepiota procera Edible" and wrote on reverse, "Continued from L.1 Sometimes LM is pure white on top. Sometimes brown wartie appearance. Lepiota Procera the parasol mushroom that delights our eye when seen from the window in the fall growing on the lawn like magic, very, very delicious very easily prepared very like the Lepiota Americani See L.4."
