Description:
Watercolor and gold paint on paper illustrating two mushrooms. Jervey noted along the bottom, "Lepiota morgani. Poisonous" and wrote on reverse, "The Lepiota morgani is pure white underneath, the cap changing to green, if when it is pure while the stem is removed & the mushroom laid on a plate the spores will fall on the plate (sazure green) with a little gum arabic you can make a water color sketch that will be accurate in color."
