Knights of Pythias

Knights of Pythias is a fraternal organization started in 1864 to "promote friendship among men and to relieve suffering." Members who obtained the Knight Degree became part of the Uniform Rank and participated in parades and processions. The Uniform Rank was banned in the organization in the 1950s.
