Description:

Black and white photograph of King Street looking north toward the intersection of Calhoun and King. Kaybee Department Store and Apartments (364 King), Snug Harbor Locker Club (366 1/2 King), and Leo Bennett's Cigars, Soda and Billiards (366 King) are visible on the right with signs advertising for Mescon's House Furnishings (372 King) and Sears Roebuck & Co. (374-378 King) in the distance. Schwartz set his camera up on the west side in front of Rhodes Inc. Furniture Store (359-361 King) to capture a relatively empty street with parked cars. The buildings at 366 and 368 King are no longer extant.
