Description:

Black and white photograph of the east side of King Street looking south toward Burns Lane. Weber's Jewelry (370 1/2 King), Britton-Edmondson Flower Shop (370 King), Club 49 (368 King), Snug Harbor Locker Club (366 1/2 King), Leo Bennett's Cigars, Soda and Billiards (366 King) and Kaybee Department Store & Apartments (364 King) are visible along the left. Schwartz set his camera up on the hood of a car (presumably his own car) on the west side of King and captured an empty sidewalk and street. The buildings at 366 and 368 King are no longer extant. Note the sign to the right designating that space as "Reserved For Bicyles Only" by order of the "CPD".
