Description:

Black and white photograph of King Street looking north from the vicinity of Beaufain Street. The photographer shot the image from an elevated height directly outside of what is now the Charleston Place Hotel to capture pedestrians shopping after the Christmas Holiday. Several cars are visible and Knickers Clothing Store (245 King) can be seen on the left at the corner of Beaufain and King Streets. Note the Christmas garland decorating the lamp posts. Written on reverse reads, "Walkers on King St. Saturday".
