A man is walking in the street beside a woman on the sidewialk wearing a white apron. More research is needed to determine the correct date of this photograph. Please contact the Museum Archives with any information relating to this image.
The 1898 Charleston City Directory lists A. Kuchler as operating an "OP" store [Original Package Store] and 96 King and 94 King as a Wood Shop owned by Mrs. E.L. Goutevenier. Note the sign advertising for ice hanging out front. Handwritten on reverse reads, "E side King St Between Tradd & Broad on French Church Property."
