Isle of Palms Amusement Park

Description:

Black and white photograph of several buildings, a water tower and amusement rides surrounded by a wooden fence on the Isle of Palms. Sams shot the image at the end of the railroad tracks of the Charleston and Seashore Railroad Co. The line ran from Mount Pleasant to Sullivan's Island and then on to Isle of Palms. Caption on negative, "End of RR at Isle of Palms". Printed from a glass plate negative held in the Museum's collection.
