Description:

Photograph showing the east wall inside the kitchen/laundry building at 87 Church Street. Bayless shot the image during the archaeological dig conducted by Museum archaeologist, Elaine Herold and focused on the arch for the original cellar entrance. Photographer's reflection can be seen in the glass window and his notation on reverse reads, "Heyward-Washington, Kitchen, First floor. East Room, East Wall."
