Harrietta Plantation

Description:

Photograph of the front door at Harrietta Plantation taken during the 18th annual American Association of Museums meeting in Charleston. The conference coincided with the 150th Anniversary of the founding of The Charleston Museum and then Director, Laura Bragg arranged for tours of various sights and plantations around the Lowcountry. Notation on reverse reads, "Harrietta - front door."

Note: The photographer, E.A. Hyer, was employed as the Museum's curator of the Preparation Department and took several photographs for Bragg as they visited the local sights.
