Harrietta Plantation

Description:

Photograph of the Harrietta Plantation house taken during the 18th annual American Association of Museums meeting in Charleston. The conference coincided with the 150th Anniversary of the founding of The Charleston Museum and then Director, Laura Bragg arranged for tours of various sights and plantations around the Lowcountry. Simple identification on reverse reads, "Harrietta."

Note: The photographer, E.A. Hyer, was employed as the Museum's curator of the Preparation Department and took several photographs for Bragg as they visited the local sights.
