Description:
Five samples of gneissic granite (GR260a-e) displaying fine-grained black biotite, white quartz, and feldspar; one piece (GR260a) has a polished surface. The samples were collected 5.5 miles north of Greenville, 2.5 miles from the Atlantic - Charlotte Rwy (S. R. R. ), west of the highway to the Hotel - Paris Mt. Granite Company, c. 1900.
