Fratercula arctica, Puffin egg

A common, or Atlantic, puffin egg collected from southern Greenland. Proctor noted the "egg laid in holes between rocks." The adult bird (parent) was also taken and used to confirm identification of the egg. The egg was later acquired by Ernest Tabor.
