Fratercula arctica, Puffin egg
Description:
A common puffin (Fratercula arctica arctica) egg collected from Grimsey in northern Iceland by W.F. Palsson. Palsson noted it was freshly laid at the time of collection and the "egg was placed in a crack in sea cliff of island, Grimsey. Egg was resting on some turf only." Later acquired by Erneest Cutts.
