Flintlock Blunderbuss

Description:

Currently on exhibit in the Armory at the Museum, this short flintlock blunderbuss was brought from Spain c.1790 by General Thomas Pinckney. It is decorated with brass furniture and an engraved steel tang and buttplate and the barrel is attached with pins.
