Photograph of the river side entrance to the Lynch House at Harrietta Plantation. Two women, dressed in white maid uniforms, are pictured at the bottom of the piazza steps greeting the AAM members and their spouses. An automobile is parked to the right. Another view of this house can be seen in the Laura Bragg Photograph Album, 1978.78.125.

The image was taken during the 18th annual meeting of the American Association of Museums held in Charleston that coincided with the 150th Anniversary of the founding of The Charleston Museum. Then Director, Laura Bragg arranged for tours of various sights and plantations around the Lowcountry.
